Windsor High School – Classrooms of the 21st Century
ATI and Windsor Unified School District developed a winning State CTE grant application that provided the maximum $3M towards a new 12,400 sf, two-story Digital Communications Complex. Included in the program was a computer and network lab, sound stage, lighting and video technology instruction, a multimedia instruction lab, production staging areas, animation and recording and audio labs.
ATI also designed two new science classroom/labs on the same campus. The project consisted of two science classrooms, 1,350 sf each and one restroom building of 600 sf for a total of 3,300 sf reusing an existing ATI’s Emily™ DSA preapproved single-story and restroom building designs. Classrooms were constructed on the existing Windsor High School site and included connection to existing utilities, low voltage systems, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. ATI performed architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services.
