ATI's trademarked Emily designs, Division of the State Architect pre-approved classrooms and components, were developed to promote the ideal academic environment associated with exceptional student test scoring. Designed with construction materials and value engineering that can be built within the most constrained budgets by local, preferred contracting communities. The Emily design offers a variety of configurations for additions to existing or complete, site-specific campuses. Emily classrooms play a pivotal role in the success of hundreds of campuses throughout California. Emily was created through a design competition for the Mount Diablo Unified School District. This District had a need to replace 265 portable and non-conforming classrooms with new construction permanent buildings. ATI developed the standard classroom design that included a 960, 1,350, and bathroom buildings in a manner that they could be site adapted as single stand alone buildings or finger wings of up to 6 classrooms. ATI furthered this design by obtaining a DSA PC....a first of its kind for a design package in the state of California. Over a five year period, ATI site-adapted these designs on various campuses throughout the District.
