Bond Measures To Improve School Facilities

When it comes time for a school district to revitalize its facilities and upgrade its pedagogic infrastructure, many school districts are counting on voters next month to pass school bonds.

As school districts face tighter budgets, aging buildings, and rapid advancements in population and technology, there are changes that need to be made.

Plus, ATI knows all too well how the condition of a school facility can directly impact a child’s ability to perform well.

Therefore, it’s important to look at the many reasons as to why we should invest in improving school facilities.

This year, there are 182 total bonds that will be on the ballot. This includes 168 K-12 school districts and 14 community college school districts.

According to the CASH (California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing) November School Bond List, the total amount needed is over $24 BILLION.

Although there are many reasons to vote YES for your local school bond this election, below we have compiled a short list.
