Q: What makes you excited about working at ATI?
A: I’m excited about the type of work and the great team I get to do it with. Everyone at the ATI family has been very welcoming and friendly.
Q: What projects are you working on so far and what are you doing on them?
A: I’m still very new, but my main focus is to continue Alan Holowich’s efforts on completing the electrical construction documents (specifically, power distribution, data, fire alarm, and lighting) for Walter’s JHS of Fremont USD. Thanks to everyone at the Danville office for being patient with me as I have big shoes to fill.
Q: Share an interesting fact about you.
A: I was born in Minsk, Belarus. I have been in the States for 20 years. I grew up in Oakland, but mostly in San Ramon. My background is in industrial manufacturing, power distribution and controls for electromechanical systems. My nickname is Serge, which I’m told is very funny for an electrical engineer. I worked at Kragen Auto Parts through college.
Q: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
A: I play soccer and occasionally ice hockey. I can be talked into some angling or some golf if the mood is right. I’ve developed a few applications for Apple iOS, a few puzzle games, unit converters, and a parking app.
