We are pleased to announce that ATI Architects and Engineers will be providing Architectural and MEP Engineering services for the Tenant Improvement at CSU East Bay Oakland Center. The Oakland Center consists of approximately 7,500 sf of existing leased space at 1000 Broadway in Oakland, CA and ATI will design, renovate, and expand the space to approximately 15,681 sf.
The CSUEB Oakland Center gains an additional 8,000 sf adjacent from the existing space. ATI will lead the design for a complete Tenant Improvement of this new space. Before design began, ATI’s Architects and Engineers conducted a site investigation and developed an understanding of the user’s experience.
ATI wants to make sure that the space is utilized in the most efficient way and will result in excellent learning environments. Our architects will design swing spaces so that offices can also function as study rooms, and our engineers will design a new lighting and MEP systems. The Tenant Improvement will transition the existing business center into a building that may be found on a typical University campus.
Construction of the Oakland Center Tenant Improvement is scheduled to start on June 29, 2015 and will be ready for move in by the 2nd week of September.
